Processed
Metal Innovators, LLC is a fully integrated steel fabrication
facility located in Bloomer, WI. PMI, LLC was originally created
as a division of AJ Manufacturing in 1991. As the demand for metal
processing grew, the PMI division at AJ Manufacturing was split
off and PMI, LLC was formed in 1998 with three partner groups.
Each of the three groups brought a minimum of 35 years of metal
processing experience to the partnership.
PMI, LLC began operations in a 37,000 square
foot building with only 7 employees and produced only 2 steel
parts. With time, PMI, LLC was born and developed into a well
known, respected company throughout the local metal stamping
industry. Since then, the business has grown to meet the demands
of our customers. We are now ISO 9001 certified demonstrating
our strong dedication to quality and customer service. Presently,
PMI, LLC employs a highly trained and dedicated workforce of
75 people on two production shifts.
Among those products we specialize in are sub-assembled
parts for the appliance industry, home improvement industry,
along with metal components for freezers, fire extinguishers,
air compressors, generators, office furniture, and steel entry
doors.
In
the outlook for many years to come at PMI, LLC, our business
will continue to develop and grow to better serve our customers
through quality, work ethic, and attention to detail.
Quality
- ISO 9001 Certified
Founded
in 1998, PMI, LLC, was certified as an official member of the
Internal Organization for Standardization (ISO).
PMI
has recognized the importance of meeting our customer’s
quality demands, so we were pleased to announce that we have
been an ISO 9001:2000 registered manufacturing company since
November of 2004.
The
system will have a wide impact on cost reduction, continuous
improvement, and effective management control. Certification
means that PMI, LLC consistently provides outputs which meet
both customer and regulatory requirements.
The
ISO is a network of the national standards institutes of 148
countries, and is the world’s largest developer of standards.
The standards are useful to industrial and business organizations
to ensure products are manufactured at a high level of quality,
safety, reliability, efficiency, and interchangeability.
ISO
certification is not only beneficial to suppliers in private
and public sectors, but ultimately to people in their roles
as ‘end users.’
An
ISO certificate is not a once-and-for-all award, but must be
renewed at regular intervals, approximately every 3 years. The
ISO Certification provides PMI, LLC with proof that we maintain
a quality system with worldwide acceptance.
