PMI, LLC has been highlighted as one of the businesses credited with making Chippewa County a great place to work and live. The Chippewa County Economic Development Corporation features PMI among local businesses in a video called “Chippewa County Wisconsin – A Strong Workforce for Business”. PMI President Chris Conard explains what PMI does for the Chippewa Valley, “We bring the core competencies of steel service centers, handling large master coils of steel and running those in our own press lines to provide metal solutions for our customers.” Conard also elaborates on the importance of teaming up with Chippewa Valley Technical College, utilizing the Critical Core Manufacturing Program, “Working with CVTC and the Critical Core Manufacturing training programs, combined with our training programs here, we’ve been able to bring in the right people and get them trained to run our machines.” Congratulations on drawing people and business to the area, PMI!
